Bulk Materials (PLM)

Bulk Materials Analysis

Polarised Light Microscopy analysis of these materials

Asbestos can be found in a large number of various construction materials. From renovations to demolition, theses materials are susceptible of creating dust particles that may contain asbestos fibers that are hazardous to your health. Analysis of possible asbestos containing materials (ACM) is essential for the health and safety of workers and individuals.

Laboratoire Silica offers Polarised Light Microscopy (PLM) analysis of these materials according to IRSST Method 244.

For further information on asbestos, consult
our « What is asbestos? » section.
